Jennifer Aniston flaunted her gigantic $500,000 diamond engagement ring — and her super-hot fiancee Justin Theroux — at a restaurant in West Hollywood, but the former Friends star still wasn’t the center of attention.
The two shared a quiet dinner at star-studded eatery Madeo, but an eyewitness exclusively tells Celebuzz that they were upstaged by none other than Michelle Pfeiffer.
“The funny thing was that everyone was paying attention to Michelle and not Jennifer!” onlooker Maureen Klepfer said — despite the fact that Aniston was wearing the uber-expensive engagement ring that Klepfer says looked “ginormous on her tiny hand.”
As 43-year-old Aniston and her beau sat in a quiet corner booth, Pfeiffer and her producer-husband David E. Kelley celebrated more boisterously with a group of friends.
“Michelle looked stunning,” Klepfer said of the eternally youthful Pfeiffer, 54. “They were sitting close to Jen’s booth. Michelle was with her husband and several friends and they were drinking Opus One.” The wine can cost $200 a bottle.
“People seemed more interested in looking at Michelle, but even my husband was amazed at how big Jen’s engagement ring was – and we couldn’t believe they were there all there on the same night.”
Aniston and 41-year-old Theroux weren’t alone, however. They were joined by the other man in Jen’s life: her hairstylist Chris McMillan.
“They were sitting with Chris at a super-private corner booth which was dimly lit,” Klepfer said. “They were all pretty quiet and mellow. Justin and Jen were both dressed casually — he was wearing all black and Jen was wearing baggy jeans. And Justin is really handsome in person.”
The trio left just as unassuming as they came in. “After they finished their meal they left quietly out a back entrance,” said Klepfer.
Aniston, and Theroux, who became engaged in August, will surely be hoping their marriage will be as successful as the union between Pfeiffer and 56-year-old Kelley: The pair will be celebrating 19 years of marriage this month.
