Disney released this week brand-new stills from Oz: The Great and Powerful, the much-anticipated prequel to The Wizard of Oz starring James Franco, Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis.
In the new set of photos, fans get a better sense of the eye-popping world that director Sam Raimi has created — not to mention a closer look at the stars in character.
Franco in particular looks well-suited to play the man behind the curtain on his road to meeting Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the gang. Also looking incredible are Michelle Williams, as Glinda the Good Witch, and Mila Kunis, who appears to be having some type of up-close-and-personal-battle with her evil-witch sister, played by Rachel Weisz.
And did we mention there’s a flying monkey?
Oz: The Great and Powerfulflies into theaters on March 8.
