Style Scoop: Gwyneth Paltrow’s Max Factor Campaign, Jessica Simpson Launches Girls and More Fashion News (PHOTOS)

Style retailers are bringing out the big guns — celebrity endorsers — as they gear up for their holiday season ad campaigns.

Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest face of Max Factor, and she looks drop dead gorgeous in the beauty campaign. Comprised of seven different looks, each reflecting a side of Paltrow’s multi-facteted life, the ads feature the actress in an effortlessly beautiful way.

Pat McGrath, Max Factor’s Global Creative Design Director, said in a statement, “I tasked eleven of our national make-up artists to create three glamour statements for Gwyneth. These were to be inspired by her life and the different roles she has to play – model, actress, mother, singer.”

Another campaign that’s making headlines is the Gap holiday campaign, “Love Comes in Every Shade.”

Jessica Simpson is venturing into the world of children’s fashions. The uber-successful designer launched the Jessica Simpson Girl’s Collection in person (looking incredibly slim!) on Saturday at Macy’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The style world’s most important list of the year was revealed over the weekend. Vogue’s Best Dressed 2012 was chalk-full of Hollywood’s leading ladies and fashion stars.

Who made the cut? Emma Stone graced the cover of the “Style Across America” edition, which named Michelle Obama, Kristen Stewart, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey among this year’s most fashionable. [Styleite]
