TV Buzz: ‘Jersey Shore’s’ Vinny Guadagnino Gets MTV Talk Show; ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ Earns Best Ratings Ever

Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is getting his own show. MTV is giving the reality star a talk show, The Show With Vinny. The series will feature Guadagino interviewing stars in his home, providing a look into the star’s home life as they sit down for a meal and candid conversation. It will also include much of his family including his mother Paula and Uncle Nino. [MTV]

Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Miami had its highest rated episode of the series yet with 1.63 million total viewers and 975,00 viewers in the ad-coveted 18-49 demographic on Sunday. The special episode aired after The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the franchise’s highest rated series, which probably boosted the RHOM. These ratings showed a 48 and 68 percent increase respectively as compared to the show’s most recent outing on Nov. 1. The Real Housewives of Miami airs Thursdays at 9 PM on Bravo. [Bravo]

The Amish Mafia is coming. Discovery Channel is giving viewers a peek inside the Amish community of Lancaster, Pa. and those who protect it in a new series, Amish Mafia. The network will give a sneak peek of the series on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 10:30 PM with the premiere the following day at 9 PM. [Discovery]

NBC’s The Voice is still king on Monday night in the ad-coveted demographic of 18-49 despite a drop in the ratings as compared to last week. Meanwhile, ABC led the night in overall viewers averaging 13.1 viewers for the night in large part thanks to Dancing With the Stars: All Stars. CBS also saw some improvement for long time sitcom How I Met Your Mother with 7.9 million viewers. [Zap2it]

Is HBO’s Girls getting a third season before Season 2 has even aired? Executive Producer Judd Apatow hinted in an interview that production on Season 3 has begun. However, HBO has responded saying, “We’re looking forward to the launch of season two and hope to have good news shortly thereafter.” [THR]

Nip/Tuck‘s Dylan Walsh has been tapped to appear in a multi episode arc on ABC’s Revenge. The actor will play Jason Prosser, a smooth man with as much wealth as Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny). He is a rival hedge fund manager. There is no other information regarding his role. [EW]
