Flipping Out’s Jeff Lewis’ attorney is speaking out about his lawsuit against his assistant – and co-star – Jenni Pulos.
The Bravo star claimed that she was in violation of non-disclosure agreements after learning that she has sold the rights to her first book, initially titled Hang in There, Baby: What One of the World’s Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love.
Lewis’ attorney, Scott Souders, told Celebuzz “we repeatedly gave her every available opportunity to see what she was writing, but she refused to let us see a copy.”
“Jeff found out about the book title online, Jenny didn’t even tell him that,” Souders said.
“Jeff wishes her well, there’s no animosity there,” he added, “Jeff is just trying to protect his businesses and clients.”
Pulos took to her Twitter on Thursday saying, “Woke up this am, being sued by your boss is really putting on the Celebrity Cinderella Slipper, Bullies Aren’t Cool.”
According to the suit filed by Lewis and his production company, the Flipping Out star requested a copy of the manuscript but Pulos told him her agents advised against providing one.
Hang In There, Baby was slated for an August 20, 2013 release. However, Lewis is seeking “a preliminary and permanent injunction” against Pulos from “publishing any and all facts and/or references to events” she became aware of during her employment.
At press time, Pulos’ rep had yet to respond to Celebuzz‘s request for comment on the lawsuit
