One of the most anticipated movie releases of 2013, OZ: The Great and Powerful promises to show filmgoers that there’s a lot more to learn about the universally beloved land that exists somewhere over the rainbow.
Starring James Franco as the Wizard, and directed by Sam Raimi, the man behind the lens for the Spider-Man trilogy and The Evil Dead, OZ is a technical marvel with all the bonafides of a soon-to-be family classic.
But what about the women of OZ: The Great and Powerful?
The Disney film, which opens in theaters March 2013, also features a powerhouse female cast with the three of the hottest actresses in the business portraying the story’s famous witches.
Michelle Williams takes on Glinda, the Good Witch of the North, while Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz play Theodora and Evanora, the Wicked Witches of the West and East, respectively.
