Justin Bieber has millions of fans worldwide, but when it comes to his true friends, he can count them on one hand.
In a revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey, the teen superstar admits that between touring and making hit records, his hectic lifestyle can be lonely and has forced him to keep a tight-knit circle of friends.
“I get days where I’m just down and gloomy,” he told Winfrey.
The Biebs also admitted that he can feel alone because he’s “human.”
“I have like three close friends that I’ll fly out to see me or chat with or call, but I mean, that’s really the truth,” added Bieber.
The TV icon also gets the 18-year-old singer to open up about getting married before he’s 25, to which Bieber candidly says yes.
“I think so, yeah,” he said.
But when the talk show legend speaks, you listen, with Winfrey telling him, “Rethink that, will you?
And Bieber wisely accepts the advice: “Yeah, I mean, you are Oprah, you are telling me I should not get married at 25, I should probably listen to you,” he said.
Bieber’s heartfelt words come at the same time the teenager has reportedly split from his girlfriend of one year, former Disney starlet Selena Gomez. Since news of the break-up surfaced Nov. 9, the young loves have reunited for multiple dates in Los Angeles, including dinner with friends Monday night at Benihana in Encino, Calif. — just one day after they were spotted holding hands at an American Music Awards after party, the same night Bieber dominated the AMAs taking home four awards.
“There has never been a star like you,” Oprah told him during their sit-down.
