Fans have been waiting for Wednesday’s episode of The X Factor in hopes of seeing Britney Spears‘ much-anticipated debut in will.i.am‘s “Scream and Shout” music video, but it turns out that she merely showed an extended preview — keeping fans hungry for more.
Spears riled up her readers on Tuesday by tweeting about the release: ”Quick peek at what to expect from @iamwill & me tmrw: http://youtu.be/0RxNcZ76U4I Who’s ready?! #ScreamAndShoutTomorrow,” adding on Wednesday, “Today’s the day @iamwill!!! BRING THE ACTION! #ScreamAndShoutToday”
But don’t worry, the sneak peek may as well be the full video, running almost 2 minutes long — showing Brit Brit’s typical seductive side in a form-fitted, midriff-baring black number and a plunging, feathered corset as will.i.am sparkles in gold bling.
“Working with an artist like Britney is the reason I love making music. She loves music as much as I do. And I am so proud of this new song ‘Scream & Shout,’” the Black Eyed Peas’ frontman gushed about Spears in a recent press statement. “This is the most exciting song I’ve worked on in a long time.” [MTV]
Of course, the 30-year-old mommy-of-two reciprocated the affection, adding, “There are few people on the planet who inspire me like will.i.am does. I couldn’t be more excited to work with him again. I can’t wait for people to hear the song and see the video.”
The video for “Scream and Shout,” the latest single from his solo project #willpower, is directed by Ben Mor who did Katy Perry‘s “Part of Me” and Black Eyed Peas‘ “Meet Me Halfway.”
