Jemima Kirke has given birth to a baby boy!
Us Weekly reports that the Girls star welcomed her second child with husband Michael Mosberg “about a week ago.”
“It’s a boy named Memphis. The Girls crew and Lena [Dunham] are so excited for her!” a source told Us.
Baby Memphis joins big sister Rafaella, who was born in 2010.
Kirke, 27, stripped down and showed off her belly for Vice just a few months ago.
The British-born American actress also opened up about similarities she shares with her free-spirited Girls character, Jessa.
“The character I play is not so far from me. I mean, fundamentally she is, and some of her behavior might have been taken from things I’ve done, but . . . I think that way of life stopped working for me really quickly,” she told Vice.
Kirke and the Girls crew are gearing up for the second season of the hit HBO series. On Friday, the network unleashed a brand new trailer for the show and yes, Jessa’s eleventh-hour husband Thomas-John (played by Bridesmaid’s Chris O’Dowd), is still in the picture.
Girls season 2 premieres on HBO Jan. 13, 2013.
