Justin Bieber Murder Plot: Suspects’ Hand-Drawn Depiction of Singer Being Held as Evidence

The two men who had plotted to murder Justin Bieber had in their possession a hand-written drawing of the Canadian singer, and police are holding it as evidence in the case.

According to new information released by New York State Police on Friday, Mark Staake and his nephew Tanner D. Ruane also had documents containing information of the whereabouts and identities of their intended victims, which included Bieber, as well as tools.

The items were discovered in Ruane’s 1983 BMW, which has since been taken into custody by state troopers.

Staake, 41, and Ruane, 23, had originally planned on killing their victims in a murder-for-hire plot devised by Dana Martin, a convicted murderer and rapist who is currently serving a life sentence at a New Mexico prison.

According to the New York Daily News, Martin, who allegedly has a Bieber tattoo on his leg, had instructed the uncle-and-nephew duo to castrate their victims with Durasharp clippers before strangling them with paisley ties.

Staake and Ruane had planned on kidnapping Bieber and his bodyguard in New York in late November, when the superstar was performing at Madison Square Garden.

After Staake was arrested on an unrelated warrant near the Canadian border on Nov. 19, Martin alerted authorities about his hit men and their master plan. Investigators were later able to set up recorded phone conversations between Martin and Ruane, according to affidavits obtained by the Daily News.

“Dude, this pi**es me off so bad, brother! I wanted this . . . to go down so bad,” Ruane was recorded as saying at one point.

New York State Police confirmed that Ruane was arrested “as a fugitive from justice.”

Staake and Ruane have each been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.

Meanwhile, Bieber is scheduled to play the B96 Jingle Bash in Rosemont, Ill. on Saturday, along with Pitbull and Carly Rae Jepsen.

The “Boyfriend” singer will return to the road in January to continue his Believe world tour.
