Kim Kardashian hopped off the plane at LAX sporting Hollywood’s hot new hair trend: sexy, side-swept bangs!
In minimal makeup and a chic all-black ensemble, the reality star could have flown under the radar as she arrived in LA on Tuesday after wrapping production of her hit TV show Kim and Kourtney Take Miami — if it were not for her new forehead fringe.
Like other stars who’ve sported bangin’ new ‘dos recently, Kate Middleton and Beyonce, the reality star caused a buzz with her bangs.
But there was something fishy about the 32-year-old’s frontal fringe….
Clearly excited about her new look, Kardashian posted a photo of her bangs on her Instagram account on Tuesday along with the caption, “Fun shoot today @mrchrismcmillan He just can’t control his scissor hands! #bangs.”
Trendy celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan also happens to be the man responsible for convincing other stars to try out dramatic new hairstyles, including Miley Cyrus’s polarizing pixie cut and Jennifer Aniston’s iconic “Rachel” haircut.
But in this case, McMillan didn’t have to sway Kardashian into chopping her hair.
After having fun with her fringe, the reality star admitted to her fans that she had been sporting faux fringe that McMillan had clipped in for a photo shoot earlier that day.
“I saw a few of you tweeting me about my bangs!! The bangs are fake! Just clip ons!” Kardashian revealed on her blog on Wednesday. “I had a fun Cosmo cover shoot yesterday and chris mcmillan clipped those on.”
They may not be real, but we think she should keep them.
