This year, Beyonce Knowles embraced social media in a big way.
First, she released a seemingly endless reel of photos on her Tumblr, many of which featured intimate shots of herself, her husband, Jay-Z, and her daughter, Blue Ivy, born Jan. 7 in New York.
Then, toward the end of 2012, Knowles one-upped herself when she joined Instagram, allowing fans even more access to her insanely awesome and incredibly fashionable lifestyle.
It all began with a tongue-in-cheek photo in which Knowles, 31, pledged her support for President Barack Obama by wearing a “Texans for Obama” t-shirt. (Knowles, as fans will know, is from Houston.)
From there, she dazzled smartphone users with a myriad of fashion shoots, trips to see the Brooklyn Nets and, in one case, a sneak peek at her recording in the studio (!).
