Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are going to have a very merry Midwest Christmas.
Hollywood’s ‘It’ couple have traveled the world together in recent months from China, Australia, Italy, and have made it all the way back to Kutcher’s home state of Iowa for the holidays, Celebuzz has learned exclusively, and has been taking his new leading lady on a tour of Cedar Rapids.
And the star-studded couple are making themselves right at home, hitting up all the local establishments to stock up on gifts and festive fare for Christmas day.
First stop: Bed, Bath & Beyond where Kutcher checked off items from his family’s wish list.
“They were picking out gifts for his family,” an employee, who asked to remain anonymous, told Celebuzz. “They bought robes, slippers and candles. It’s really cold In Iowa right now, so I’m sure it will come in handy.”
Usually the former That ‘70s Show co-stars are pretty reserved when they make a rare public appearance, but on Dec. 17, the Two and a Half Men star, 34, took Kunis, 29, the local Coral RidgeMall where they packed on some serious PDA.
“They were inseparable and having such a good time in the store,” the employee added. “Ashton had his arm around her and I even saw him rub her back.”
They even pleasantly surprised some of the locals, like Taylor Legleiter who gushed to Celebuzz: “My life is complete, I saw Mila and Ashton! I saw them drive away from the mall and it was so exciting.
“I know he is from here, but to see him in person was really cool. They looked so cute in the car together.”
From bedroom and kitchen supplies to everything they could need outdoors, the happy couple stopped by Scheel’s sporting goods store, but Kutcher and Kunis came up empty-handed for the holidays.
“They were in the store, but they didn’t buy anything. They just walked through hand-in-hand smiling from ear-to-ear. It was the highlight of my day to see them,” a store employee told Celebuzz.
After a long day of shopping, the dating duo needed some much-needed food fuel at Fareway grocery store.
“Mila and Ashton filled up their grocery cart full of food to bring back to Ashton’s family home,” a Fareway manager, who wanted to stay anonymous, told Celebuzz. “Every time he is in town he usually stops in the store. This time, they looked really cute together as they browsed around the aisles.”
As Celebuzz previously reported, things between the twosome — who’ve been dating since the spring — have gotten quite serious. Kunis has met her boyfriend’s family before when she visited Cedar Rapids in early September where the Hollywood hunk officially introduced the Friends with Benefits actress as his girlfriend.
