‘X Factor’ Finale Ratings Rise; ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Renewed for Season 10

The ratings for the final performance on FOX’s The X Factor was up six percent from last week’s outing with 8.3 million total viewers. However, the show was down 18 percent in the ad-coveted 18-49 age demographic as compared to last year’s final performance episode. X Factor‘s slight gain helped the network nab the top ratings spot on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Miss USA Oliva Culpo’s win of the Miss Universe pageant was the most watched broadcast of the annual show since 2008. [Deadline]
