Matt Matt White is still singing the praises of Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, just days after the Bachelorette couple’s wedding aired on national television.
“That they are really, truly in love,” White, who performed two of his original songs at the lavish ceremony, told Celebuzz this week. “And they found love on TV! Good for them.”
White sang “Love” and “Love and Affection” at the reception, which he said was so big, it was almost like singing for the President.
“It was a big production, with a lot of security,” he said. “At times I thought I was at the White House. We had to check our cell phones and I was not allowed to bring a guest.”
Still, his nerves remained intact.
“It wasn’t my first time performing on TV,” he said. “But it was my first time performing at a wedding that was filmed for TV!”
“In all honesty, when you perform live and perform for TV, it’s the same thing,” he added. “I had an audience and I was being filmed!”
On Tuesday, White released “Love Songs,” a five-song EP that features “Love and Affection,” which White says will be hitting radio next month, as well as “acoustic versions of fan favorites.”
White — who has performed with the likes of Sheryl Crowand many others — also has a full CD coming out in March 2013, on which fans can expect “lots of cool piano songs.”
“[It will sound] a little bit darker then my normal stuff, but still light,” he said.
