HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Molly Sims has signed on for the upcoming indie film “Hickory Nation,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The drama revolves around a mysterious hit-and-run accident that takes place in a small coastal community in Maine. The circumstances surrounding the event bring together a teacher and two of her students, all of whom are struggling with deceit.
The 34-year-old Sims will portray a teacher who is dealing with the death of her daughter. She will be joined by the previously-cast Aimee Teegarden, who is a beauty queen and one of her students.
Shooting on the film, written and directed by Rebecca Cook, is scheduled to begin next summer.
Sims most recently starred as Delinda Deline on the NBC television series “Las Vegas.”
