NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Nashville police have released the video of Sahel Kazemi’s DUI arrest, which took place just two days before she committed suicide after killing her boyfriend, former NFL star Steve McNair.
The 20-year-old Kazemi was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on July 2. She was driving a 2007 Escalade that McNair bought her in May as a birthday gift. The four-time Pro Bowler was a passenger and allowed to leave by taxi following the DUI arrest.
The 36-year-old McNair, who later bailed Kazemi out of jail, was found shot to death Saturday at his condominium in downtown Nashville, Tenn. Kazemi then turned the gun on herself.
The Pro bowl quarterback led the Tennessee Titans to the 2000 Super Bowl.
