In a video posted on several Web sites, “iCarly” star Nathan Kress was alleged to have said that he and his fellow cast members — Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Jerry Trainor — are in the midst of filming the final season of the Emmy-nominated series.

However, fans can rest easily because the series won’t be leaving the airwaves anytime soon.

“We pace our hits, and we just love this show so much,” Marjorie Cohen, executive vice president of Nickelodeon’s original programming and development, revealed earlier this week. “We’re going to continue to make it and hopefully it will continue to be incredibly well-received.”

While “iCarly” hasn’t created the same amout of buzz as Disney’s teen hit “Hannah Montana,” Cosgrove says that’s totally fine by her.

“I don’t think I’d want to be constantly followed by paparazzi,” the 16-year-old said. “All of my friends are from elementary school — they’re not in the business at all — so I’m usually just hanging out with them. I don’t do anything too crazy.”
