HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Bill Hader is getting serious.
The 31-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star and his wife Maggie Carey are expecting their first child, Hader confirmed to People.
“I’m really excited,” he told the mag. “I think it’s going to be awesome.”
The funnyman’s wife said she knows Hader will be “a really cute dad!”
The couple, who married in 2006, is keeping the sex of their child a secret until their baby’s arrival at the end of September.
As for his wife’s pregnancy, Hader said he’s glad to be a bystander.
“She’s awesome,” he said. “Way tougher than I am.”
