Video: Mark Lester ‘Today Show’ Interview

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Mark Lester paid a visit to NBC’s “Today Show” on Friday, where he addressed the possibility of being the biological father of Michael Jackson’s 11-year-old daughter Paris.

The former child actor said Jackson approached him for sperm because he “wanted kids but was anxious about sex.”

“I had given something as a gift and I didn’t want anything in return for it. End of story,” he told host Matt Lauer.

The 51-year-old Lester, who now works as a chiropractor and is the father of four daughters in London, recently made the biological father revelation in an interview with the U.K.’s News of the World.

Lester told Lauer that he is not looking for a “monetary gain,” but when pressed if he is Paris’s biological father, Lester said he had “no idea, and even if I was, it would make absolutely no difference to the status quo of the family.”

Katherine Jackson, the family matriarch who has custody of Paris and the King of Pop’s other two children, sons Prince and Blanket, has said Lester’s claims are not in the best interests of her grandchildren.
