HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa pulled out all the stops Friday in a special Halloween episode.
The pair showed off 20 costumes on Live! with Regis and Kelly, including the hosts channeling estranged reality couple Jon and Kate Gosselin. For the bit, Regis donned an Ed Hardy T-shirt while Ripa emerged with Kate’s trademark hair, short skirt and high heels. They then proceeded to mock the Gosselin’s bitter divorce as they fought over a pile of cash.
Other Halloween costumes on display included YouTube singing sensation Susan Boyle and pop star Lady Gaga, as well as a spoof of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Of course, the morning would haven’t been complete without a tribute to the infamous “balloon boy” hoax, a bit that featured the show’s executive producer, Michael Gelman, and program director, Art Moore.
