`The Hurt Locker’ Wins Best Feature at Gotham Awards

Kathryn Bigelow, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, newNEW YORK — The Hurt Locker picked up two trophies, including the top prize of best feature, as the annual awards season picked up steam Monday night at the 19th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.

Kathryn Bigelow’s Iraq-set drama also won for best ensemble performance at the annual ceremony, which was held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The best documentary prize went to Food, Inc., while Robert Siegel won breakthrough director for his helming debut in Big Fan.

You Won’t Miss Me, the story of an out-of-control young woman in New York, won for best film not playing at a theater near you.

Other notable winners included, Catalina Saavedra, who captured the breakthrough actor award for her performance as a servant in The Maid.
