Audio: Tiger Woods’ Wife Elin Nordegren Makes 911 Call

ORLANDO, Fla. — A frenzied scene can be heard as Elin Nordegren made a frantic 911 call when her mother collapsed early Tuesday.

“Oh my God! My mom just collapsed,” the wife of embattled golfer Tiger Woods tells the dispatcher in the 911 call. “She collapsed in the bathroom. What do I do?”

With a baby crying in the background, Nordegren runs off to check on her mother’s condition at the request of the dispatcher. She returns to say that her mother is breathing and conscious.

“She’s fine. … I’m sorry, I got so scared,” says Nordegren, who tells the operator that it’s not necessary to send help.

The call ends with the dispatcher saying paramedics will be dispatched to check her mother’s vital signs.

“Okay,” says Nordegren. “It’s not urgent now, though.”

Barbro Holmberg, 57, was released from Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla. around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
