Chris Brown’s Felony Assault Charge Reduced to Misdemeanor

Chris Brown is a free man again after his felony assault charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, The Associated Press reports.

Brown spent a day and a half in custody after allegedly punching a man who tried to get a picture with the singer and two other people near the W Hotel in Washington, D.C., early Sunday morning. According to Parker Isaac Adams’ account in the police report, Brown made a homophobic remark before the assault. “I’m not down with that gay sh–,” Brown allegedly said, along with, “I feel like boxing.”
