HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Leven Rambin is defending her decision to get engaged to film producer Geoff Clark at the tender age of 19.
“I don’t think I’m too young. I’ve had a very full life,” the Grey’s Anatomy actress tells People. “As a Christian, I think it’s really important to find a man of God to trust and be supportive of me. I’ve never met anyone like Geoff.”
Clark, 28, proposed as the couple strolled along a beach in the Bahamas over New Year’s. Their engagement came after just six months of dating, but Rambin told the mag she’s been “praying for him to propose.”
“I knew I wanted it to happen,” she said.
The couple has yet to finalize their nuptials, but Rambin said she’d love to tie the knot in the Bahamas.
“We’ll probably do it either the end of this year or next summer,” Rambin said of picking a wedding date. “I would marry him tomorrow in an elopement, but I really want it to be a proper ceremony. I’m not a really good organized bride-to-be. I’m definitely not a bridezilla!”
