In the day’s actual hard-hitting news: a gunman opened fire at the Los Angeles International Airport Friday morning, killing a TSA agent. For those who only really care about celebrity news: the shooting delayed James Franco‘s plane, causing the actor to be halted on the tarmac as police swarmed the terminal.
While waiting for the OK to take off, the actor posted a selfie on his Instagram, captioning the photo: “At #lax Some s** tbag shot up the place.”
Meanwhile in the actual airport, investigative reporter The Bachelor host Chris Harrison also gave his social media followers the play-by-play of the shooting, live-tweeting through the process.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the gunman was killed by authorities after shooting a TSA agent. No details were given about how he died. Law enforcement sources said investigators were trying to determine whether the gunman worked at LAX. At this time, authorities do not believe the suspect was tied to any terrorist groups.
