HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish have split after several years of dating.
On Sunday, Cornish was spotted moving out of the Los Angeles home she shared with Phillippe. Her rep later confirmed the longtime couple had ended their relationship.
“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home,” the Australian star’s rep told People.
The split follows months of tabloid speculation that Phillippe has been cheating on Cornish. When asked about the rumors, her rep offered a “no comment.”
Phillippe, 35, and Cornish, 27, met in 2006 on the set of their film, Stop-Loss. The actor’s marriage to Reese Witherspoon was on the decline at the time. He later split with Witherspoon in October of the same year.
Last fall, Cornish admitted to W magazine that being linked to the collapse of Phillippe’s marriage was something she wasn’t prepared for.
“It was a really difficult time for me,” she said. “It was just this world of tabloid magazines that I’d never been exposed to. In a normal successful career, someone usually learns these things bit by bit. For me, it was like night and day. I woke up one day and there was this whole new thing I had to process and deal with.”
