HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gerard Butler insists he wasn’t getting frisky with Jennifer Aniston despite a buzzed-about photo that seemingly shows his hand on the butt of his co-star in The Bounty Hunter.
"Yeah, I’m a bit of a bad boy," the 40-year-old actor said on Friday’s Johnjay & Rich Show. "I’m still not sure my hand was really on her butt. I think that’s just the way the camera was angled. I haven’t actually seen [the photo]."
But not everyone was buying Butler’s explanation.
"[Your finger] looks implanted inside the crease!" chimed in one member of the morning show team.
As for those rumors that Butler and Aniston have been dating for some time — also "not true" the actor told the radio crew.
"It’s been two years now of people saying, ‘Are you guys a couple?’ " said Butler. "And I don’t think it would make any sense to keep denying it for two years. If I was going out with Jennifer, I’d be more than happy to say I’m going out with Jennifer."
