HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Several celebrities took to Twitter after a powerful 7.2 earthquake centered near Mexicali rocked all of Southern California Sunday afternoon.
"OMG! So scary, just felt an Earth Quake! Anyone else feel it? I hope there isn’t anymore," tweeted socialite Paris Hilton.
The earthquake killed two people in Mexico and injured at least 100. It was one of the strongest quakes to hit the region in decades.
"We just felt an earthquake in LA that happened in mexico?" wondered Ashton Kutcher on Twitter.
"HOLY S***!!!!!! I have never felt an earthquake like that!!!!!!" added Dancing with the Stars co-host Brooke Burke.
Other stars tweeting about the tremblor included Adam Lambert, Denise Richards, Jamie Kennedy and Reggie Bush, who was back home in San Diego at the time.
"That was a slow rolling Easter quake!" tweeted singer Josh Groban. "My grandma didn’t feel it because she was ‘making the bed.’ Makes sense. Hope everyone is alright!!"
Of course, not everyone was certain what caused the tremblor.
"Couldn’t tell if that was an earthquake or If Matt Damon was angry," joked Office star Rainn Wilson.
