HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — MGMT has announced a new round of dates for its upcoming North American tour, which kicks off with a pair of sold-out shows at San Francisco’s legendary Fillmore on April 12 and 13.
Among the hightlight’s of the band’s run will be another stop at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 17.
The tour, which will continue through the summer, also features performances at Bamboozle on May 2 and Lollapalooza on August 8.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Thursday via the band’s official Web site, www.whoismgmt.com.
MGMT will be touring in support of their sophomore release, Congratulations, which drops on April 13.
Earlier this month, the band debuted the music video for their new single, "Flash Delirium."
MGMT will make their debut appearance on NBC’s Saturday Night Live on April 24.
