‘Family Ties’ Star Brian Bonsall Sentenced to Probation

Brian Bonsall, mugshot, tattoos, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, mugshot, mug shot, latest, newBOULDER, Colo. — Former Family Ties star Brian Bonsall has been sentenced to two years probation stemming from a fight with his friend last year in Colorado, the Associated Press reports.

Bonsall, 28, pleaded guilty Thursday to felony menacing and third-degree assault. He was accused of repeatedly striking his pal with a broken wooden stool.

The actor also pleaded guilty to violating terms of probation by testing positive for marijuana. Bonsall, who had pleaded guilty in 2007 to assaulting his girlfriend, was sentenced to five days in a work-release program and 40 hours of community service for the probation violation.

Bonsall starred as youngest sibling Andrew "Andy" Keaton on the hit ’80s television sitcom from 1986-89.
