HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson are in the midst of planning their wedding after secretly getting engaged two months ago.
The rugby star proposed to Church during a surprise helicopter flight after they celebrated her 24th birthday in February.
"We were always like: ‘Yeah yeah we’ll do it one day,’ but I was beginning to think I was going to be ‘girlfriend’ for the rest of my life," the Welsh singer told OK! magazine.
Church, 24, and Henson, 28, have two children together, Ruby, 2, and 15-month-old, Dexter. Their plan is to marry in front of about 100 guests later this year at an island they recently fell in love with.
"It’s an amazing place – there are no cars allowed so it’s really safe for kids," said Church of their wedding location. "There are two tractors and that’s it!"
