NEW PICS: Amanda Bynes Goes ‘Gang$ta’ in First Outing Since Her Release from Rehab

Amanda-Bynes outing

It’s been four months since we’ve gotten a glimpse of Amanda Bynes, and now that she’s out of rehab, she’s home for the holidays with her family.

And that also means she’s back to showing us all that she hasn’t lost her flair for fashion. Although her signature blond locks are a thing of the past, she’s sporting a darker ‘do and looking happy and healthy.

The actress, who was treated for schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder in court-ordered rehab after months of disturbing behavior via Twitter, made her first public outing Thursday alongside her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes, and her family’s furry friends in the neighborhood of their Thousand Oaks, Calif. home.

So what’s the perfect dog-walking attire? A ‘Gang$ta Love’ sweater, dark jeggings, Vans tennis shoes and oversized sunglasses. And we can’t forget her well-manicured long nails, jumbo-size watch, pint-size purse and short dark locks tucked underneath a baseball cap.

Lynn, who has been granted temporary conservatorship over the star and her estate, shared many smiles with her 27-year-old daughter during their stroll, and the whole family looks elated to be reunited.

The Bynes family attorney released a statement earlier today, even revealing Amanda’s plan to further her style studies: “Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she’s feeling better every day,” said Tamar Arminak. “She’s now looking at various colleges with the intention of majoring in fashion design. She’s mentioned before she’s interested in creating a clothing line.

“Despite the fact Amanda is no longer in a facility, her outpatient treatment is continuing” she added. “She’s very happy to re-establish the loving relationship with her family that she once shared.”
