LOS ANGELES — Marg Helgenberger and her husband Alan Rosenberg have split after nearly two decades together, a rep for the actress confirmed to Access Hollywood.
“After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart. They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family,” Helgenberger’s rep said in a statement.
Helgenberger, 50, and Rosenberg, 57, met when the actor appeared as a guest star on her soap opera “Ryan’s Hope.” The pair started dating a few years later and married in 1989.

They have an 18-year-old son together named Hugh.
Prior to his romance with the “CSI” star, Rosenberg was married to actress Robin Bartlett.
Helgenberger will soon appear alongside Val Kilmer in the thriller film “Columbus Day.”
