HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Russell Crowe is not dead, contrary to online rumors.
A rep for Crowe has confirmed the actor is alive and well after an online report Thursday claimed he had fallen to his death from an Austrian mountaintop.
Crowe’s rumored death became a trending topic on Google as word spread quickly this morning on the Internet.
The Aussie hunk won an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in the 2000 film Gladiator.
Crowe is currently starring on the big screen in Robin Hood. His next film, The Next Three Days, is due out in November.
