Wickedly chic! Angelina Jolie cut a fierce figure at a photo call for her new movie, Maleficent, at Hotel Bristol in Paris, France on Tuesday, May 6.

The 38-year-old actress played up her toned shoulders in a sexy, strapless wool crepe peplum bustier by Ralph Lauren, which she paired with matching black cigarette pants. She kept the rest of her look simple, wearing minimal accessories and natural makeup.

Also in attendance at the photo call was Elle Fanning, who plays Princess Aurora in the upcoming fairy-tale thriller about Sleeping Beauty‘s famed villainess. Fanning rocked an olive green frock and posed, laughing, alongside her costar.
Speaking with Us Weekly recently about working with Jolie on Maleficent, the 16-year-old actress gushed, “It was super exciting. Everything was so fun. Working with Angelina — it’s kind of a dream to say that you even met her, let alone [were] in scenes with her. It was really, really cool.”

Jolie, for her part, relished the experience of portraying the Mistress of All Evil. “I loved being Maleficent,” Brad Pitt‘s fiancee told Entertainment Weekly earlier this year. “I was quite sad to put my staff down and put my horns away, because somehow she just lives in a different world.”

The Unbroken director will soon be stepping into a world of her own creation when she teams up with Pitt for a movie based on an original script she wrote, Deadline reported on May 2. They last collaborated on the film Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2005.
