Jennifer Aniston debuted a darker ‘do on the set of her new film, Cake, in Los Angeles today. Aniston plays Claire, a woman fascinated by the suicide of a fellow member of her chronic pain support group. The We’re The Millers star will also serve as executive producer on the film, based on a Black List script by Patrick Tobin.
Anna Kendrick, who’s hosting SNL this weekend, co-stars as the woman who commits suicide. Pugilistic Aussie Sam Worthington is the deceased woman’s husband, who gets close to Claire in the aftermath of his wife’s death, and The Mindy Project‘s Chris Messina is Claire’s ex-husband who still cares about her. Cake also features Felicity Huffman as the support group’s facilitator.
Between filming Cake and rumors she already has Mean Moms lined up, one wonders when Jennifer will possibly have time to squeeze in her upcoming wedding to Justin Theroux.
