HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Justin Bieber is poking fun at some of the outlandish rumors circulating about him and his family, including a report about his mother being offered $50,000 to pose for Playboy.
"My mom is a moral woman…let’s just leave that one for what it is…because that rumor just grossed and weirded me out…" the 16-year-old teen heartthrob wrote Tuesday on his Twitter page.
Bieber also laughed off several other rumors floating around the Web.
"I’m not dead. I had to check on this one…but it turns out I’m alive," he said.
The "Baby" singer also set the record straight about his beliefs.
"I have not joined the Illuminati or any other cult, " he said. "I’m a Christian and I pray before every show and am thankful for every blessing."
He also assured fans that his singing voice will be just fine as he ages.
"I’m not Peter Pan," he said. "I’m growing up and my voice will change but no worries Jan Smith is the greatest vocal coach ever…stronger than ever!"
Bieber made it a point to mention that he’s "not 10 feet tall" and that there’s no truth to Chuck Norris being his "real father." He also addressed rumors about his future schooling.
"I’m home schooled and not going to a high school next year in every city we have visited," he assured, "although I would like to sit next to all u girls in math class."
