In today’s “life is so not fair” news, Lea Michele and Vanessa Hudgens are reportedly earning five-figure sums just to show up at this weekend’s Coachella Music Festival in Indio, Calif. Yes, that means while the rest of us plebs are forking over hundreds — nay, thousands — of dollars to hopefully get a glance at Outkast, Muse, Arcade Fire or Lorde onstage, some celebrities attendees will actually be getting paid hefty sums to attend the same event.

According to New York Daily News, Lacoste has put up $20,000 for Michele to sport their brand at the popular music festival, while McDonald’s is fronting $15,000 for Hudgens — who, let’s face it, has become a staple at Coachella — to show up and shake her hippy-dippy groove thang and presumably nibble on a Big Mac or two.

Meanwhile, other celebrities like Joe Jonas and Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul are still looking for takers who will pay them to plug their products. Jonas’ asking price is reportedly “somewhere under $20,000″ and Paul, who actually met his wife at the famed festival a few years back, will yell “yeah [insert brand name here], bitch!” for $15,000 and at least 2 VIP passes. The other Coachella staple, Kate Bosworth, reportedly has an appearance fee of somewhere close to the $30,000 mark.

So, how do you feel about your life now?
