Beyoncé is ‘Out’ Magazine’s Power Issue Cover Girl

She may have just been vacationing in the Dominican Republic with her husband Jay Z, but Beyoncé is never out of the limelight for very long. The “XO” singer is featured on the latest issue of Out magazine and the 32-year-old beauty looks as fierce as ever.

Sporting a chin-length Marilynesque platinum bob and very little else, the mother-of-one channels retro Hollywood glamour on the black and white cover.

The LGBT fashion, arts and culture mag chose Bey to grace the cover of its Power Issue.

The Queen tells Out‘s Editor-in-Chief Aaron Hincklin, “I’m very happy if my words can ever inspire or empower someone who considers themselves an oppressed minority. We are all the same and we all want the same things: the right to be happy, to be just who we want to be and to love who we want to love.”

Bey, who managed to record her fifth studio album, Beyoncé, without anyone knowing, also talks about female empowerment and how “women should own their sexuality. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy. The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims. Women are so much more than that.”

The May issue of Out is on newsstands April 22nd. What do you think of Beyoncé’s new cover?
