HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Becki Newton is pregnant!
The former Ugly Betty star is expecting her first child with husband Chris Diamantopoulos, American Superstar has learned.
Newton’s pregnancy is one of several challenges that have plagued her upcoming new series, Love Bites, which has been pushed back to midseason, according to USA Today.
"She plays a virgin [in the pilot episode], so we have to make adjustments to that," Vernon Sanders, NBC’s executive vice president of current programming, tells the paper.
Newton, 31, and Diamantopoulos, 35, tied the knot in May 2005 after famously meeting in the Times Square subway station when her future hubby was starring in The Fully Monty.
"He asked me if I wanted to see him on Broadway naked," Newton recalled in a 2008 interview with New York Magazine. "It could have been creepy, but it was so cute!"
