HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have tied the knot!
The True Blood twosome got married Saturday in a private wedding ceremony held just steps from the beach in Malibu, Calif. Guests at the couple’s nuptials included their True Blood costar Carrie Preston and actor Elijah Wood.
Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, announced their engagement last August. They started dating soon after filming began on their hit HBO vampire series in 2008, but the pair didn’t confirm their relationship until the following year.
This is the first marriage for both stars, although Moyer has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and a daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.
Earlier this year, Paquin came out as bisexual, a revelation that Moyer said he learned early on.
"I’ve never been in a relationship before in which, literally within the first three days, all the cards were laid out…It wasn’t something that was kept from me," he told Playboy magazine for its July issue.
"I condone what she has done 100 percent, and it’s her business to talk about it, not mine," the actor added. "It doesn’t change anything. I’m proud of who she is."
