Rihanna turned a clumsy mishap into a charitable opportunity last Friday night when she accidentally broke the Los Angeles Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff’s phone at the Clippers playoff game.
The “Diamonds” singer was posing for a selfie with Soboroff at the Clippers’ playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder when she dropped his phone on the court, smashing the screen.
But Rihanna didn’t just offer to replace the device, she donated $25,000 to a fund for cadets and fallen police officers. Riri even signed the broken phone so the crafty commissioner could auction it off for bonus donations.

The phone, which still works, currently has a bid of $10,100 on eBay.
