Brave and beautiful Giuliana Rancic was all smiles as she left her hotel in NYC with hubby Bill Rancic on Monday. Giuliana revealed to Today show host Ann Curry that she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer. Giuliana revealed on Today early Monday morning that she will undergo a lumpectomy and radiation therapy after she discovered she has breast cancer while getting a mammogram.

Giuliana spoke to pal Ryan Seacrest from New York via satellite later that night about how her decision to go public was “a difficult one” for her.

“I feel like such a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders,” she told Ryan last night on E! News. “I’ve been keeping this secret from a lot of dear friends for a while now and it’s nice to get it out there and not hide anymore.”
