HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Juliette Lewis is recovering after she was injured in a car accident Wednesday night in Burbank, Calif.
The 37-year-old singer and actress was leaving an event for her new movie Conviction when her chauffeured-driven Lincoln Town Car was broadsided by a hit-and-run driver.
"The sedan Juliette was traveling in was completely totaled," her rep said Thursday. "[Juliette] went to the hospital to be checked out and is a bit banged up and sore, but otherwise thankfully okay. She is now resting at home."
Police are looking for the driver of the other car, a Honda, police sources tell TMZ. The suspect’s vehicle was found deserted a few blocks from the crash scene.
