Lionsgate has pushed the release date for Jason Statham‘s Safe to April 27. The Boaz Yakin-written and directed crime thriller was previously set to release March 2.
Safe tells the story of a former elite agent who fights to rescue a 12-year-old girl.
Safe will now open against Universal’s Nick Stoller comedy Five-Year Engagement.
Safe comes to theaters March 2nd, 2012 and stars Jason Statham, Chris Sarandon, James Hong, Robert John Burke, Anson Mount, Reggie Lee, Victor Pagan, Danny Hoch. The film is directed by Boaz Yakin.
