Fox and Sony Pictures Television are teaming up to develop a half-hour comedy based on 2009’s zombie action pic Zombieland, which starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Emma Stone starrer .
Feature scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing the comedy which is being eyed for the 2012-13 broadcast season. A potential TV series would replace a big-screen follow-up.
Zombieland was released October 2nd, 2009 and stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard, Bill Murray, Derek Graf, Jacob G. Akins. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
