Sinead O’Connor Reveals New Vampy and Glamorous Makeover

Sinead O'Connor new look

Singer Sinead O’Connor wants us to pay attention! The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer has has unveiled a sexy new makeover for the cover of her new album I ‘m Not Bossy, I’m The Boss.

Gone is the bald head, and now the 47-year-old star is vamped up in a black wig, PVC dress with jeweled decoration and heavy eye make-up as she clutches a guitar.

Sinead revealed on her blog that she changed the name of the album after being inspired by Facebook exec Sheryl Sandberg‘s Ban Bossy campaign. Beyonce is among the other stars backing the campaign against strong women being branded bossy.

Sinead said: “Just a note to explain the title of my forthcoming album IS taken from Sheryl Sandberg’s Ban Bossy campaign.”

“Originally, I had a different title, The Vishnu Room, but a few months back, when I saw the phrase ‘I’m not bossy, I’m the boss’ and Sheryl Sandberg’s Ban Bossy campaign, I wished I could rename the album.”

“Indeed it can be tricky being a female boss and I think Sheryl’s campaign is a terribly important one.”

O’Connor seems to be in a good place after courting trouble — again — in recent years with her open letter feud with Miley Cyrus prompted by the Wrecking Ball clip and the Irish singer’s fears the former Disney star was being exploited by the music industry.
