HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Leeza Gibbons certainly knows how to keep a secret.
The former talk show host and her boyfriend Steven Fenton got in engaged in June when the groom-to-be proposed on the lawn of their new L.A. home before moving in, she tells People.
"He was on one knee and I was on Cloud 9!" the 40-year-old Gibbons recalled. "I have a ring but we decided that I won’t wear it until we have a private exchange of vows."
Gibbons met the 53-year-old Fenton on a blind date two years ago.
"In the beginning, the age thing tripped me up for a minute," she said. "I believe in love and I always held onto the belief that I would find it again but I didn’t think it would come in the form of Steven."
Gibbons, who has three children from two previous marriages, said the twosome have yet to set a wedding date.
Fenton is president of the Beverly Hills Board of Education.
