‘Winter’s Bone’ Tops 2011 Spirit Awards Nominations

Winter's Bone, Spirit Awards, nominations, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The thriller Winter’s Bone racked up seven nominations, including best picture and acting honors for Jennifer Lawrence, John Hawkes and Dale Dickey, to lead the field of contenders for the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards, organizers announced Tuesday.

The film will compete for best picture against a field that includes 127 Hours, Black Swan, Greenberg and The Kids Are All Right.

The Kids Are All Right finished second with five nominations, including a best actress nod for Annette Bening and a supporting actor bid for Mark Ruffalo.

In the best actor category, the race will feature Aaron Eckhart for Rabbit Hole, Ben Stiller for Greenberg, James Franco for 127 Hours, John C. Reilly for Cyrus and Ronald Bronstein for Daddy Longlegs.

Lawrence and Bening will compete for best actress honors against a field that also includes Natalie Portman for Black Swan, Greta Gerwig for Greenberg, Nicole Kidman for Rabbit Hole and Michelle Williams for Blue Valentine.

The 26th annual Spirit Awards, to be hosted by Joel McHale, will be held on Feb. 26, 2011. The show will air live on IFC at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
